Recommended points

Based in Kamikatsu, famous as a pioneering zero waste town, INOW is a sustainable tourism program that provides visitors with a place to think about more mindful and circular consumption, connection to the natural environment, and life that practices coexistence with other people other than humans.

Recommended points

INOW places importance on fostering relaxed connections with local communities, nature and sustainable lifestyles. We will deliver a memorable and rich experience to everyone who visits, tailored to their own needs.

Recommended points

Our experiences, business and education programs are not limited to seasonal seasons, but there are times when you can experience unique activities within the town.
The following are the things you can experience each season:

[Spring] Rice planting with local farmers, picking wild vegetables, cherry blossom viewing
[Summer] Kamikatsu Awa Night Tea Making, Awa Dance, Summer Festival, Pickled Plums, Playing in the River
[Autumn] Rice harvest, harvest festival, mandarin orange picking, Yuko picking, seasonal cooking classes
[Winter] Traditional crafts, making persimmons

Recommended points

We focus on educational experiences that raise awareness of people's consumption, lifestyle and connections with waste. We hold zero waste workshops to learn about them, and we have created partnership programs with local residents and businesses that show how Japanese culture and lifestyles can contribute to sustainable lifestyles.

Recommended points

Our local residents and businesses are our teachers, and we convey to our customers modern customs, mainly environmentally friendly lifestyles, such as Satoyama and "mottainai," as well as recycling, natural farming, and a circular economy.

Recommended points

After the program experience, guests are encouraged to introduce sustainable behavior into their daily lives and organizations. Through this program, guests often get a feeling that they have been able to rethink their own consumption and understand a variety of environmental issues.
